I obtained BSc in Land Economics from the then Paisley College of Technology and became a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1990.
After 2 years of working within retail agency and 3 years within professional/valuation I moved to specialise in commercial property investment rising to Director of Investment within DTZ prior to joining Inglis Howie in 2008.
I am extremely experienced in all aspects of acquisition and disposal of commercial property including High Street Retail, Retail Parks and Shopping Centres as well as Office and HQ facilities, distribution warehousing and hotels.
In addition I also provide development funding advice in respect of forward funding and forward commitments to purchase.
My clients comprise a wide range including Institutional, Property Company, High Net Worth and Family Trusts each receiving advice tailored to their individual needs.
As well as a practicing Chartered Surveyor I am also a qualified commercial pilot with an (f)ATPL licence, and typed to fly modern twin jet aircraft.
Flying has been a long held passion and I have enjoyed tremendous experiences and adventures, meeting a wide range of people, and visiting wonderful countries.
Whilst no obvious link between aviation and property, there is in fact a significant recurrent theme of teamwork between me and those I engage with.
